Ruby Mae Ball Crum age 85 of Newport went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 29, 2011 following a brief illness. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents William Henry and Zora Burke Ball, her husband Troy E. Crum , brothers Carl, Arlis, Hubert, Robert, A. J., and Henry Ball Jr., sisters Gracie Ball Click, Minnie Ball Hale, and Polly Ball Smith. She is survived by her son and daughter in law H. P. and Marie Crum, God-son Jimmy Townsend and his wife Sue, who was like a daughter to her, not only a niece, grandchildren Lynn Crum, Steve and Angie Cline Crum and Jamey and Katie Ball Crum, great grandchildren Whitney, Hunter, Dyllan and Dalton Crum, sisters in law Edna Ford Crum, Sally Williamson Crum, Bo Frazier Ball, Ella Ruth Crum James, Joneta Black Ball, Rachel Black Ball and Geneva Webb Ball, special friend, Fernando Lopez and many, many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday June 1, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ransom Hall and Rev. Bill Ball officiating. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-9 Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home.
