(June 17, 1949 - January 10, 2015) U.S. Veteran Roger Dale Webb, age 65, of Newport passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at LeConte Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Doris Webb; and brothers, Dennis Webb and Arris Webb. He is survived by his son, Chad (Heather) Webb of Newport; daughters, Kimberly McCoig of Newport and April (Jarrett) Depew of Newport; brother, Alvin (Shirley) Webb of Newport; sister, Janice (Mickey) Clark of Morristown; grandchildren, Montgomery and Madison Webb of Newport and Camden Ottinger of Newport; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, January 12, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
