He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Allen Webb; father, Alvin “Sorry” Webb; and brother, Clay Webb. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Webb, of Newport; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Janice Webb, of Knoxville; son, Todd Webb, of Kodak; granddaughters, Jennifer and Emily Webb, of Knoxville; sister, Betty Jean Kilgore, of Parrottsville; sister-in-law, Sandy Webb, of Newport; special friend and loving companion of many years, Vanda Knowles; and his dear friends Pat Williams and Lena Robinson, who helped care for his mother; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, June 28, 2010 in Union Cemetery, with Chaplain Elizabeth Young conducting graveside service. .In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Stokely Memorial Library, 383 East Broadway, Newport, TN 37821 or a charity of your choice.
