Bonnie Pierce Ford, age 85, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2004 at Mariner Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ike Ford; parents, Lee and Eliza Clark Pierce; brothers, Clyde, Curtis, and Fain Pierce; sister, Helen Pierce Turner; and son-in-law, Junior Cagle.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Dockery and Jim; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Jimmy Morrow; daughter, Ann Cagle; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna Lee and Jimmy Fraley and Dorothy and Charles Ball, all of Newport, and Mayme and Paul Goree, of Washington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Troy and Jo Ann Pierce of Newport, Earl and Georgia Pierce of Indiana, and Carroll Pierce of Fort Lauderdale, FL; grandsons, Terry and wife Debbie Dockery and Ronald Dockery; and great-grandson, Dalen Trent Dockery of Chestnut Hill whom she loved dearly. She also leaved behind many dear friends, nieces and nephews, and all the great caregivers at Mariner Health Care.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2004 at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend James McFalls, Reverend Wayne Haney, and Reverend Jimmy Morrow officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Manes Funeral Home.
