She was preceded in death by her husband, Thermon James; parents, Worley and Rose Ball; brothers, William and Everette Ball; sister, Sarah Hall; sister-in-law, Norma Ball. She is survived by her son, George James (Darlene) of Newport; grandson, Randy James (Scott) of Dandridge; great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Christian James; brothers, Charles Ball (Dorothy) of Newport; William F. Ball (Deann) of Pikeville, Kentucky; sister, Francis Rollin (G.B) of Hartford; sister-in-law, Lola Ball of Newport; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Martha Holt. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Manes Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Ball officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Monday, January 13, 2014 at Union Cemetery.
