John David Green, age 61, of Newport, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center in Sevierville. Mr. Green was employed by First Tennessee Bank and a member of Newport Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, U.L. and Lucille Laws Green. Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Ruth Rolen Green; and aunts Una V. Green of Cocke County and Morine Ball of Shelby, NC. He will also be sadly missed by a host of special friends and co-workers. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 10, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 11, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ransom Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Laws Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home has been honored with providing the final arrangements for Mr. John David Green.
