Morine Green Ball, age 87, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away January 14, 2012, at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain.
Mrs. Ball was born January 6, 1925, in Cocke County, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Nancy Green.
She worked as a nurse's aide and was also a homemaker.
She loved quilting, reading her Bible, and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Everette Lewis Ball, brothers Beryl Green, U. L. Green, Charles (Buster) Green, and Mack Green, and sister Bernice Rollins.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Carol Lovelace and Wayne of Lattimore, NC; Sue Wilcox and Richard of Shelby, NC, and Rita Matheson of Kings Mountain, NC; grandchildren: Jeff Lovelace and wife Debra, Donna Costner, Troy Dixon, April Cameron and husband Mark, and Dillon Matheson; ten great-grandchildren; and sister Euna V. Green of Del Rio.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Terry Graves officiating. Visitation was held Monday evening, January 16, 2012.
