Maybelle Brown Hembree, age 91, of Newport, died Monday morning, May 19, 2014, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cephus and Jane Brown, sisters Jessie Barnes, Rebecca Brown, and Nola Daniels and brothers Floyd and Bill Brown.
She is survived by her daughters Gladys Hembree and Linda Mullens of Newport and Bonnie Barnes of Sevierville; sister Rockie Brown of Newport; grandchildren: Randy Barnes and Christy and Brandon Lane; great-grandchildren Kenneth Lewis and fiancee Angel; Destinee and Montana Cook, Whytani and Dakota Lane and Kaylei Hensley; several nieces, nephews and special friends Dan Mullens, Charlie Ruble and Haskell Dockery.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Carrell officiating.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at the Barnes Valley Cemetery.
