Nancy “Kaye” Brown, age 57, of Cosby, passed away Monday morning at her home. She was a member of Chestnut Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Ray Fish, grandparents Sollie and Ida Fish, and Joe and Zora Brown.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Rev. James W. Brown, daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Nathan Smelcer, grandchildren Punkin, Katlynn Smelcer, and Ian Miller.
She is also survived by her mother Stella Fish Wyatt, sister and brother-in-laws Barbara and Gary Dukes, Wanda and Donovan Dorsey of Cosby, Gloria and Mark Cureton of Newport. Mrs. Brown is also survived by several nieces and nephews, special niece Sis Brown, several great nieces and nephews, and special friend Charlie Grooms.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 1:00PM at The Garvers Chapel Baptist Church with Charlie Grooms and Rev. Raymond Collins officiating, burial will be following the funeral service at Abe Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the home, 4002 Trail Hollow Rd Cosby,TN , Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.
