Shirley Louise Brown, 54, of Parrottsville, passed away Monday, July 26, at 10:55 a.m., at East Tennessee Baptist Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Newport.
She was employed by Hunts Food in Newport.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Houston Reagan; and brother, Houston Reagan.
Survived by husband of 31 years, Edward “Hoppy” Brown of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Scott E. and Cheryl Brown of Bybee; grandchildren, Amber Caldwell and Josh Brown, both of Bybee; mother, Ralphine Reagan of Sevierville; sisters, Lola Maples, Mildred Hurst and Pauline Worley, all of Sevierville; sister, Kate Campbell of Newport; brothers, Ronnie Reagan and Kenneth Reagan, both of Sevierville, and Charles Reagan and Bobbie Reagan, both of Dandridge; several nieces and nephews; special nieces, Amy and Melissa Campbell of Newport; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, with Reverend Kenneth Wilson and Reverend Eddie Young ofŢciating. Family and friends will gather at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, to proceed to Forrest Hills Baptist Church Cemetery in Parrottsville for a 2 p.m. graveside interment service.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
