He was preceded in death by his parents Edmond and Fannie Barnett; son Tony Barnett; and brothers James Barnett and Robert Barnett. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Aurine Barnett of Del Rio; sons Lynn and wife, Angie Barnett of Parrottsville; and John Barnett of Del Rio; daughter Linda Branam of Del Rio; brother Ronnie Barnette of White Pine; sister Mary Heard of Maryland; grandchildren Arnold McDowell, Sarah and Makayla Barnett, Charley Gregg; special friends Burch and Brenda Wood and a host of other special family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Wilson Messer officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 2, 2011 at Green-Laws Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday prior to funeral service.
