GREENEVILLE, TN - Shirley Starnes Emert , 67, of Asheville Highway, Greeneville died Friday evening, February 11, 2005 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church where she volunteered as receptionist. She also was a member of Andrew Johnson Club, New Comers Group, Red Hat Society, Volunteer at the Capital Theater, Board Member of the Nathanael Greene Museum, member of the Look Good, Feel Good Club of the American Cancer Society, an avid bridge player and golfer, a committee member of the Fabulous Fifties. -Survivors husband, Paul K. Emert ; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul K. Jr., and Pam Emert of Macon, GA; four grandchildren, Jessica P. Emert of Knoxville, Jennifer C. Emert , Georgia E. Emert , Paul K. Emert III, all of Macon, GA; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Eddie Starnes, Jimmy and Brenda Starnes, all of Greeneville; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Wanda Click of Murfreesboro, TN, Martha Fillers and Sharon and Everette Hale, all of Greeneville; one uncle, Gail Colyer; two aunts, Emma Dean Colyer and Faye Colyer, all of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews. -Funeral services will be 8P.M., Sunday at Kiser Funeral Home with interment at 11:00 A.M. Monday, Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville. Rev. Julian Walton, Rev. Tommy Collins will officiate. -Pallbearers, Mark Starnes, Chris Starnes, Jeffrey Click, Lynn Hale, Ronnie Colyer, Roger Colyer. -The family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday preceding the funeral service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery Monday at 11:00 A.M. for the Committal Service.
