Dorothy Deanne Ogle, age 78, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2005, in Gainesville, Fla.
She was an administrative assistant for the University of Florida, Investigational Review Board for 22 years, and was a member of the Oak Dale Baptist Church Senior Sunday School Class, and was known to be "A Woman of Prayer."
She volunteered at Hospice of NCF, donated over eight gallons of blood at CIVITAN, and she also donated her musical talent to Ayers Nursing Home in Trenton, Fla.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ann Ogle, of Alachua, Fla.; son, Fred Carl Ogle Jr., of Gainesville, Fla.; father of her children, Fred Carl Ogle Sr.; brothers, Clyde H. Bell, of Hawthorne, Fla., and Charles M. Bell, of Costa Rica; sisters, Hazel R. Bell Kuszmaul, of Atglen, Pa., and Wilma Bell Proffitt, of Newport; four grandchildren, Eric Chad, Hayley M., Mikell, and Quint Ogle; great-grandchild, Kirea M. Ogle.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 11 a.m. in the Oak Dale Baptist Church, visitation 10:30-11:00 a.m. in the church prior to the service.
Burial in Jonesville Cemetery, Newberry, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 4th Street, Newport, TN 37821.
