Ruby Lindsey Baxter , a loving mother and granny, age 88, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Cosby, TN, a daughter of the late James and Nora B. Lindsey . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Q. Baxter , a daughter Faye, three sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Baxter was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church of McAdenville. She retired from the textile industry as an inspector for Pharr Yarns. Survivors include her daughters Bobbi Sue Barnes and husband Robert, Shirley Helton and husband Johnny, and Gail Horn and husband Sam; one son Danny Ray Baxter and wife Ann; three brothers Ruble Lindsey , Ray Lindsey , and Ronnie Lindsey ; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30—2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia. A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015, at 11:00 a .m. at Ogle Hill Cemetery in Cosby, TN officiated by Rev. Buck Harper. Memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, P. O.
