Trula Shults age 79 of Cosby died Monday Morning February 16, 2015 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Viola (McMahan) Hartsell, brother Lloyd (Buster) Hartsell and sister-in-law Nan Hartsell.
She is survived by her daughters Sandra (Randall) Fish of White Pine, Karen (Tony) Valentine of Cosby; grandchildren Russell Fish of Jefferson City, Teresa (Noah)Eller of Talbott, April (Spencer)Simmons of Murfressboro, Krystal (Charlie) Cowan of Knoxville, Bobby Valentine of Cosby; great grandchildren Violet Eller and Finn Simmons.Sisters Pauline (Jimmy) Mantooth of Georgia, Marie (Earl) Trentham of Gatlinburg, Marilyn (Larry) Ramsey of Newport; brothers Lawerence (Francis) Hartsell of Newport, Henry (Jan) Hartsell of Cosby, Sam Hartsell of Newport, Edgar (Mary)Hartsell New Jersey, Alan Hartsell of Newport, Leonard (Pat) Hartsell of Newport.
She was a faithful Christian and member of the Webb Baptist Church.
She was a loving and giving person and will truly be missed by her family and friends. She was possibly the best cook in the whole world, she loved cooking, canning, gospel music and flower gardening.
Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4 til 6 pm with the funeral service at 6 pm with pastor Dr. Frank Bell Officiating. Graveside service will be 12 noon Thursday at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Webb Baptist Church 335 Wilton Springs Rd Newport, TN 37821
