BUDA, CHARLES ALEXANDER "Z", II - age 78, of Pigeon forge, Tenn. passed away Monday, October 16, 2000. Member of First United Methodist Church of Pigeon Forge. Preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Buda; parents, Charles Alexander and Zella Allen Buda; brother, William "Bill" Buda. Mr. Buda served in the US navy during WWII and was a Pigeon Forge businessman with early businesses there. He started the Minnis Drugstores and was a mayor of Morristown. An avid Alabama fan, he was a contributor to schools, colleges and many other organizations and had a great concern for children.
Survivors: wife, Annette H. Buda; son and daughter in law, Charles Alexander "Zandy" and Mary W. Buda; grandchildren, Gregory W. Bales and wife, Karen, Karen R. DeRosa and husband, Joe; great grandchildren, Joey, Grant and Sophia. Special thanks to NHC Farragut, his many doctors and nurses and special caregivers, Wanda Sutton and Sandra Sutton. Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. or a charity of your choice. Charles Alexander "Z" Buda II, 78, of Pigeon Forge, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pigeon Forge.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Buda, and brother. His parents were Charles Alexander and Zella Allen Buda.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a Pigeon Forge businessman.
Survivors include his wife, Annette H. Buda; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Alexander "Zandy" and Mary W. Buda; grandchildren, Gregory W. Bales and wife, Karen; Karen R. DeRosa and husband Joe; and great-grandchildren, Joey, Grant and Sophia.
