He was formerly employed at Tops Manufactory Company and Rhynes Lumber Company of Newport. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Francis; grandfather, Hobart Blazer; grandmother, Ruby Blazer; step-father, Venus Williamson; and nephew, Chris Francis. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Freeman Francis; son, Kenneth “Dozer” Francis, all of Newport; mother, Marie Williamson, of Carson Springs; sisters, Wanda Gregg and husband Harold, Judy Gregg and husband John, Gail Rathbone and husband Lee; brothers, Ronnie Williamson and wife Sandra, Venus Williamson Jr., all of Newport; brothers-in-law, Randall Freeman and wife Cynthia, Scott Freeman; sister-in-law, Regina Freeman; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Wendell and JoAnn Freeman, all of Newport; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Freeman and Rev. Robert Williamson officiating, with burial in Allen Cemetery.
