William Glenn Rollins passed away into the hands of his Lord and reunited with his beloved wife Zora on January 10, 2008. Glenn was born in Vonore, Tennessee on September 10, 1921. He spent over 40 years in the aluminum industry working for Alcoa, Ormet and Revere. He was a proud member of the Alcoa Masonic Lodge, having received his 50th year pin. A natural gardener, Glenn enjoyed raising vegetables not only in his yard, but anyone else's yard that was vacant and in need of a little planting. Sharing his bounty with family, friends and anyone in need gave him great joy. Survivors: 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Catherine Rollins , Charlotte, NC, Ed and Barbara Rollins , Germantown, TN; 6 grandchildren, Annie Rollins , Charlotte, NC, Suzanne Malouff, Charlotte, NC, Mathew Rogers, Charlotte, NC, Andrew Rogers, Charlotte, NC, Karen Brown, Memphis, TN, Lisa McGown, Orlando, FL; 4 great-grandchildren, Brayden McGown, Orlando, FL, Elle McGown, Orlando, FL, Ryan Malouff, Charlotte, FL, Missy Malouff, Charlotte, FL; sister, Juanita Hammontree, Alcoa, TN; brother, Howard B. Rollins , Columbus, GA. Funeral service Sunday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro, AL, with Rev. Don Cooper officiating. Visitation Sunday 1-2 p.m. Burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
