Worsham, Frank Earl, age 85, of South Knoxville passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Tennova Residential Hospice. Frank was a faithful husband and father. He was a wonderful provider and protector of his family and home. Frank was a long time member of Second United Methodist Church and attended the Abundant Life Sunday School class. He had fifty years of service in the transportation industry; first with E.T.@W.N.C. Transportation Company and then with the City of Gatlinburg as transportation supervisor with the Trolley system. Frank was an avid VOL fan and enjoyed road trips to UT football games with his wife and family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Mayme McCarter Worsham; parents, Reecie "Bus" and Gladys Worsham; brother, Delano Worsham; and brother-in-law, Henry Hodges. Frank is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Lauren Worsham; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Pat Pierce; grandchildren, Jennifer Pierce Curry (Coleman), Daniel Pierce (Sara), Lindsay Worsham and Melissa Worsham; great grandchildren, Lily and Ezekiel Pierce; sister, Marjorie Hodges; sister-in-law, Josephine Worsham; and nephew, Randy Hodges. Family will receive friends 6 PM – 8 PM Friday, September 5, 2014 at Berry Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Pierce officiating. Following the service family and friends will proceed to Sherwood Memorial Gardens for an interment service.
