LEDBETTER, WILLIE V., 81, of Townsend, died Wednesday, March 28, at the family home. He was retired from ALCOA.
Survivors: wife, Hazel Webb Ledbetter; sons, Kenneth Ledbetter of Maryville, Freddie Ledbetter of Townsend; daughter, Joyce Davis of Townsend; four grandchildren; two stepgranddaughters; one great-grandson; sisters, Josie Hembree of Knoxville, Rachel Pack of Maryville, Katherine Caylor of Townsend.
Family and friends will meet at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home.
MORGAN, DEWEY LEE, 55, of Louisville, died Thursday, March 29. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Miller Funeral Home.

LEDBETTER, WILLIE V. - age 81, of Townsend, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 28, 2001, at the family home. Retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 Year Club. Preceded in death by parents, James Manuel and Lurena Shields Ledbetter; brothers, Ira, Maynard, and Witt Ledbetter; sisters, Susie Clabough, Annie McCarter, and Martha Hazel Adams.
Survivors: wife of 59 years, Hazel Webb Ledbetter; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dorothy Ledbetter of Maryville; son, Freddie Ledbetter of Townsend; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Daniel Davis of Townsend; grandchildren, Kenna and husband Steve Best of Maryville, and Chris Lane of Walland, Dana and husband Richard Brent Lund of Greenback and Jennifer Davis of Townsend; two step granddaughters and one great-grandson; sisters, Josie Hembree of Knoxville, Rachel Pack of Maryville, Katherine Caylor of Townsend and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001, for graveside service and interment, Rev. Edward Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
