Ledbetter, Mayford Shade age 71 of Maryville died at Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He retired from ALCOA and was a member of their 25-Year Club. Preceded in death by: Wife, Wanda June Law Ledbetter; Parents, Maynard & Mary Ledbetter. Survivors include: Daughter and Son- in-law, Kim & Ricky Swiney of Maryville; Grandson, Shane Swiney; Brothers, Glenn Ledbetter, mark Ledbetter, Luke Ledbetter all of Maryville; Sisters, Lillian Myers and Barbara Waters both of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 6, 2002 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Carl White officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience after 4:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2002 at Smith Mortuary.
