MILLER, GEORGE, JR. - age 77, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2003, at Mariner Health Care of Newport. He was Owner/Operator of Miller Action Company, was of Baptist Faith and a Veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Miller, Sr., and Nellie Fine Miller sister, Pauline Hall brothers, Ray and John Miller. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances McCravey Miller son and daughter-in-law, George Donnie and Kathy of Newport daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Ronnie Hommel of Parrottsville daughters, Sandra Taylor and Sharon Kear of Newport grandchildren, Whitney and Andy Miller, Dustin and Derek Hommel, Randy Keys, Christopher Miller and Kristy York, all of Newport seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James H. Kinser and Rev. Rick Hollifield officiating, with burial 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral at Manes Funeral Home. Manes, in charge.
