She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by husband, Burl G. Morgan; mother, Hattie Stinnett; brother, Paul Morgan; sister, Esther Ownby. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and James Cannon of Powell; stepdaughter and husband, Linda and Ralph Singletary of Conyers, Ga.; grandchildren, Neil and Paula Cannon and Craig Cannon; step-grandson, Robin Phillips; great-granddaughter, Ashelee Cannon; brother, Jack Stinnett of Knoxville; sister, Geneva Apple of Powell. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at McCarty Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 p.m., Rev. Charles Lawson officiating. The family will also receive friends 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Liberty Baptist Church in Wartburg with a graveside service to follow in the church cemetery.
