DOBBINS, JACKIE JUANITA MAPLES - of Knoxville, born February 14, 1952, went home Monday, April 22, 2002. She was employed at Vreeland Engineering and was a long time member of Sutherland Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Dobbins was preceded in death by her loving father, Rev. Carl L. Maples, Sr., and a baby brother, Charles H. Maples. She is survived by her sons, Sam Dobbins, Jr., and Jason Dobbins; a daughter, Dorothy Maples; grandchildren, Shane Holmes, Courtney Dobbins, Cody Dobbins, and Cory Dobbins; parents, Dorothy Maples Isbell and Isaac Isbell, Sr.; sisters, Phyllis Cole, Carlette (Cooki) Maples, Donna (Don) Branum, Jackie Sheldon, Donna Hall, Deanna Isbell, and Tammy Isbell; brothers, Carl Maples, Jr., Tony Hawks, Donnie Hawks, Johnny Isbell, Terry Isbell and Isaac Isbell, Jr., and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dobbins is at Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Suttle and Rev. Jimmy Pledge officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday in Highland Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmie Cole, Stephen Cole, Adam Cole, Joey Love, Don Branum, and David Branum.
