Roy Gene Ogle, "Granddaddy" age 66, of Gatlinburg, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017. Roy was born December 12, 1950, in Gatlinburg. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Naomi Ogle, brothers Roger Ogle, Don Ray Ogle, Delmar Ogle, Bob Ogle, and his sister Linda Carol Chaney.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pam Ogle, his children Bart (Adrienne) Ogle, Chad Huskey, Scott (Brandi) Ogle, Kerri (Matt) Jones, grandchildren Amelia and Charlotte Ogle, Kayla Austin and Tucker Jones, Lainey and Landyn Ogle, sister Shirley (Bill) Huskey, sister-in-law Kathy Ogle, brother-in-law Scott Chaney, sisters-in-law Brenda Ogle and Donna Ogle, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Lynn Cole, Dee and Donna Lashlee, Michael Lashlee, Nancy and Mike King, Ricky Pickel; several nieces and nephews, and many special friends that were like family.
Roy's humor and wit were a delight to his family and all who knew him. He leaves an emptiness that will never be filled, and we are all so thankful that he was part of our lives.

and we say, "Forever."
The family will receive friends from 4-6:45PM Thursday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM at First Baptist Church, Gatlinburg. Rev. Larry Burcham and Rev. David Huskey will officiate. Interment 1PM Friday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. Online condolences may be made at atchleyfuneralhome.com
