The will of Robert G. Young of Mechanicsburg, written 12 May 1882, probated 31
July 1882, bequeathed to his widow, instead of the $300 homestead provision
specified in law, all furniture, use of house, stabling and so forth so long as
she remains a widow; this provision accompanies a long review of the
bookkeeping on John Mateer's estate concluding with the statement that
Rebecca's share therin was $608.19; to sone Robert Alexander Young, "my gold
watch", and to this sone Robert $1500 over and above his regulr protion, "this
I do on account of his ill health";l to daughter Mary Hays married to Robert A.
Bucher, $250; to granddaughter Annetta Culbertson Young, $150 "as a memento of
her deceased grandmother whose name she bears"; to my namesake and grandson
Robert Young Stuart, $150, and to his mother, Elizabeth G. Stuart my daughter,
