She loved quilting, crafts, flowers, flea marketing, and fishing. Preceded in death by husband Harold Gene Pelfrey; parents Roy and Lillie Proffitt; brothers Ronnie, Buddy, and Tommy Proffitt; mother-in-law Maggie Pelfrey. Survived by daughters Debra Smith of New Tazewell; Kathy Hogan and husband Larry of Claxton; sons Darrell Pelfrey and wife Charlene of Union County, Todd Pelfrey and wife Tammy; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow.
