BROWN, BLANCHE PRICE - 81 of the Ball Camp Community, died Friday, November 26, 2005. Longtime member of Ball Camp Baptist Church and the Beaver Ridge Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a nurse until retiring in 1975. Preceded in death by husband of 25 years, her parents Isham and Cordelia Proffitt, brothers, Warren, Oscar, Davis, Roy and Burl Proffitt, sisters, Verdie Kirby, Grace Constant and Alma McCarter and brother in law, Claude "Pete" Price. Survived by daughters, Annette Price Miller and husband Robert and Betty Price Duncan and husband Odis grandchildren, Angela Miller, Amy Miller, and Kevin Neely brother in law, Edward Brown sisters in law, Mary Luttrell, Ruth Shipley, Wilma Shipley and Shirley Ivester many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She will be missed by members of her Monday night Bible study group. Her daughters wish to thank the staff of Maryville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center's Horizon Wing for taking such good care of their mother. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. with 8 p.m. service to follow at Weaver Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Sunday-Winters. Family and friends will meet 1:15 Wednesday for a 1:30 p.m. graveside service at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Weaver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
