D. L. Stinnett, age 77, of Pigeon Forge, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Mtn. Star Masonic Lodge #197. He retired from the U.S. Navy after more than twenty years of service.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Hollis, Glenn, and Gene Stinnett and his sister, Beulah Davis.
Survivors:
Wife of 37 years: Martha Raye Stinnett
Daughters and sons-in-law: Michelle and James Sutton, Diane and Ronnie Dykes
Grandchildren: Paige and Colby Robertson, Kacey and Deven Dykes
Sisters and brothers-in-law: Nell and Fritz Morton, Pauline and Wayne Dorsey

Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Carr officiating. Family and friends will meet 3 PM Tuesday at Smoky Mt.
