Larry W. Sims, age 73, of Pigeon Forge, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Larry was of the Baptist faith. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jessie Sims.

Wife of 48 years: Carolyn Sims
Son and daughter-in-law: Gary and Robbie Sims
Daughter: Amy Sims
Grandchildren: Chelsea Burnett and husband Zack, Cassidy Sims, Heather Sims, Larry Mack Sims, and Lil D.
Great grandchildren: Canyan and Jayden Burnett, Crew Rader, and baby Burnett
Sister and brother-in-law: Brenda Rudder and husband Joe
Special friends: Kevin Rader, Dennis Sutton, Tim Sanderson, Mike and Libby Huffstetler and family, and several special cousins and friends

The family will receive friends 2-4:45 PM Saturday with a funeral service to follow at 5 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Sanderson officiating. Interment 2 PM Sunday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens with military honors provided by American Legion Post #104. Pallbearers will be Alan Loy, Dennis Sutton, Jimbo Whaley, Scott Hensley, Scott Seaton, Kevin Rader, Zack Burnett, David McGill.
