Charles Howard Cooper age 72 of Newport, TN. formally of Wears Valley passed away on April 27, 2010 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Howard was a beloved father, fisherman and friend. He lived his life to make a friend and tell a story. Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann, 3 brothers Max, Delmar and James Cooper. He is survived by daughters, and sons-in-law, Lessia and Danny Fagg, Hollie and Todd Withey and one son, Dan Cooper, 3 sisters, Merle Darnell, Dorothy Hatcher and Alden Douglas, one brother, Rex cooper, 4 grandchildren, Matt cooper, Adam and David Rose, Ashton and Amelia Withey, several nieces, nephews and more friends than can ever be known. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Mattox Cemetery with Rev. Richard Chastiane officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville.
