Muriel I. Lindsey, 95, Columbia Falls, Mont., died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at the Brendan House in Kalispell. Mont. She was born July 18, 1913, in Sevier County, to Irvin and Phoebe Huskey. She was raised and educated in Tennessee.
Muriel was married to Roy L. Lindsey on July 22, 1933, in Sevier County. They moved to Columbia Falls in 1954.
Survivors include her sons Carroll and his wife, Virginia Lindsey, LeRoy Lindsey; daughter Eula Ogle and her husband, Max, all of Columbia Falls; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Jan. 3, 2009, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements with the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.

Muriel I. Lindsey, 95, Columbia Falls, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at the Brendan House in Kalispell.
She was born July 18, 1913 in Sevier County, Tenn., to Irvin and Phoebe Huskey. She was raised and educated in Tennessee.
Muriel was married to Roy L. Lindsey on July 22, 1933 in Sevier County. They moved to Columbia Falls in 1954.
She loved her family, friends, fishing, camping, snowcatting, puzzles, and the card game, Skipbo.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy, in 1989; a granddaughter, Brenda Clarke; a great-granddaughter, Casey Clarke; and her seven brothers and sisters.
Muriel is survived by her sons Carroll and his wife, Virginia Lindsey, of Columbia Falls and LeRoy Lindsey of Columbia Falls; a daughter Eula Ogle and her husband, Max, of Columbia Falls; five grandchildren, Kathy Brunett, Karla Stratton, Randy Lindsey, Kyle Lindsey and Donna Lindsey; nine great-grandchildren, Stephen Lindsey, Connor Lindsey, Amy McCubbins, Kristy Korbett, Rachel Stratton, Lauren Stratton, Derik Lindsey, Kelci Lindsey and Nicole Clarke; and three great-great-grandchildren, Skyler McCubbins, Cameron McCubbins and Christian McCubbins.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The casket will not be open for viewing.
Arrangements are with the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
