Styne Clinton Chambers, 81, was called to his Heavenly home Wednesday, March 23, 2016 with his family by his side. He was a member of Sevierville Church of God. Styne worked for and retired from Western Electric. He was a member of CWA. Styne traveled 43 years in 26 states. He loved his country and was enlisted in the Army and later the Army Reserves. Styne enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Roxie (Blalock) Chambers; infant brother, McArthur Chambers; brothers, Wayne Myers, Grady Myers and David Chambers; and sister, Sue McGill.
He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 60 years, Euretha Connatser Chambers; daughters, Tammy McGill and husband, Rick McGill, LeaAnne Voiles and husband, Doug Voiles; son, Timothy Chambers and wife, Karen Chambers; grandchildren, Cory McGill, Kendra Phillips, Rachel Voiles, and Styne Taylor Chambers; great-granddaughter, Natalie Phillips; sisters, Lottie Ball and Bettye Ham; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 7 PM Monday, March 28th in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Victor Alley and Pastor Ken Cook officiating. Family and friends will leave in procession from Atchley Funeral Home at 10:30 AM Tuesday to Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens, Pigeon Forge for the graveside service and interment. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #104. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
