Gerald Clay Gibson, age 76, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011. He was a member and Deacon at Valley Grove Baptist Church, and a member of Masonic Lodge # 334 in Seymour, the Royal Arch Masons Mountain View Chapter # 163, the Cryptic Masons Knoxville Chapter # 75, and the Order Of The Eastern Star. Gerald worked as an optician for Lens Crafters, Dr. Jack Rule and Paul Whittke, Drs. Campbell, Patterson and McCoy, and Hines Lab before Retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Gibson, parents, brother, Gene Gibson, sisters, Estiene Eslinger, and Eva Jo Starrett

Son and daughter-in-law: Jerry and Judy Gibson
Grandchildren: Marcus and Amy Gee
Great-grandson: Ethan Gee
Brother and sister-in-law: Bill and Kathleen Gibson, and Buddy and Polly Gibson
