PIONEER GRADY RESIDENT DIES Richard Mack Ogle, 86, pioneer of Grady county died in a local hospital at 7 o'clock this morning. He had been in failing health the past year. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Church by Rev. Kenneth F. Garrison, pastor. Interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery under the direction of Chickasha Funeral Home. Born in Linn county, Missouri, Jan 12, 1862, he came to Indian Territory 65 years ago. He and his father erected the first home in what is now Duncan. Mr. Ogle was a resident of Grady county for the past 45 years, living in the Tabler and Chickasha communities. A retired farmer and stockman, he was a member of the Pioneer club and the First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Alice, six daughters, Mrs. Jim Ratliff and Mrs. Joey Johnson of Chickasha, Mrs. Joseph George of Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Alva Cavin of El Reno, Mrs. Berlin Etheridge of Blanchard and Mrs. Carl W. Andrews of Athens, Greece; four sons, Henry and Mack of Chickasha, Clyde of Fresno, Calif., and Theodore of Madera, Calif.; two brothers, Robert of Chickasha and Wade of Fresno, Calif.; 39 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
