RIDENOUR, EDNA LEE - age 89, of Andersonville, Tennessee passed away Monday, July 23, 2007 at the Norris Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. She was born March 22, 1918 in Claiborne County. She was a loving mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Mayo Ridenour; parents, Lonnie & Grace Brooks Wyres; 5 brothers & 3 sisters. Survivors: Daughters: Florence "Flo" Elliott & husband, Clyde, of Andersonville, Judy Bass & husband, Elgin, of Andersonville, Joyce Willams & husband, C. L., of Knoxville; Son: Mack Ridenour & wife, Carolyn, of Andersonville; Grandchildren: Leo Elliott & wife, Maria of Andersonville, Susan Gibson & husband, Danny, of Andersonville; Maylene Anderson & husband, Bruce, of Andersonville, Freda Hackney of Heiskell, Shelby Graves & husband, Chris, of Heiskell, Ashley Hill & husband, Perry, of Knoxville; Step-Grandchildren: Steven Bass & Diane Roy & husband, Roy; 2 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; sisters: Ruth Brooks of Virginia and Maxie Jones of Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews & friends. The family wishes to express their thanks to the nursing staff of Norris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 from 6 to 8 at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM in the chapel with the Rev. Donnie Disney & Rev. Terry Slover officiating. Family & friends will meet Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 AM at the Red Hill Cemetery in Andersonville for graveside services. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
