Charles Ruble Stuart, age 63, of Newport, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2004.
Charles was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lizzie Stuart, and brothers, Frank and Carl Stuart.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Buda Stuart, of Newport; step-son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Kim Tippitt, of Maryville, and step-son, Steve Tippitt, of Knoxville; beloved granddaughter, Kelcey Tippitt, of Maryville; brothers, Troy Stuart, of Newport, and Lloyd Stuart, of Fredricksburg, Va.; sister, Eliza Finchum, of Newport; also several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery with Father David Garrett officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home.
