Boyd C. Roark Sr., 94, of Rockwood, died Aug. 2, 2004.
He was a farmer and was raised in Pigeon Forge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Melvin and Katherine Roark; wife, Lena Chambers Roark; daughter, Helen Roark Wayne; two infant children; one brother; and four sisters.
Survivors include his children, Dorothy M. Roark Manning, of Westel, Boyd Clayton Roark Jr. and wife Marie, of Stockbridge, Ga., Della M. Roark Dalton, of Westel, Michael S. Roark and wife Missy, of Wester, Linda D. Roark, of Westel, and Jackson H. Roark, of Westel; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Crettie Adams, of Sevierville, and Katherine King, of Pigeon Forge; and brother, Frank Roark, of Pigeon Forge.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary with the Rev. Kenneth Raines officiating. Graveside services and interment followed in the Roark Family Cemetery.
The family received friends Wednesday at the Evans Mortuary.
