William Edward Cornelius of Dallas, formerly of Talco, died Friday in Dallas.
Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bridges Chapel Methodist Church, with burial in Bridges Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. George McNellie, pastor of Cornelius church in Dallas, officiated. Bates-Cooper-Weems Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant conducted services.
He was born Dec. 14, 1907, in Avery. He retired in 1965 from the J. B. Pump Service in Talco. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bobby Redfearn of Austin; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Kathryn Beschwitz of Pittsburg and Miss Alma Cornelius of Dallas; two brothers, Eugene Cornelius of Plainview and George Cornelius of Talco.
The family asked that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the Bridges Chapel Cemetery.
