Patricia Nadine Ann McCarter, 61, passed away Friday, December 12, 2003 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center. She was a loving wife and mother to her family. Her mother, Masie Jane Ownby preceded her in death. Besides her mother, Patricia’s daughter, Marie "Pennie" McCarter; brother, Ronnie Ashley Ownby. Patricia leaves behind to mourn her departure her husband, David Ray McCarter, daughter and son-in-law, Veronica Jane and Manuel Reeves; son, James David McCarter all of Bridgeport, AL, grandchildren, Courtney, Brandy, and Amber Reeves; father, Charles Earl Ownby; sisters, Brenda Stout and Susan Ownby both of Sevierville; brothers, Craig L. Ownby of Knoxville, James E. Ownby of Chico, CA. Besides the immediate family, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends will miss Patricia. Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2003 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Brother David Simmons officiating. Interment will follow the service at Glades Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13 in the Davis Room of Rawlings Funeral Home. Condolences may be conveyed to the family through our website.
