Julia Yates Little, 83, of Gatlinburg passed away Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Sevier County Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Little was of the Baptist faith.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Little; sisters, Stella Hays, Alva Mae Wheatley, Grace Yates; brother, Guy Yates and beloved brother-in-law, Gerald "Doc" Hays.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Valentine and husband Larry of Gatlinburg; sons, Richard Little of Pigeon Forge, Marcus Little and wife Rosemary of Gatlinburg; grandchildren, Dawn Costello, Kim Bailey, Jennifer Little; great grandchildren, Tiffany Ham, Tyler Bailey, Colby Tanner, Hayley and Megan Costello. Besides the immediate family, several nieces, nephews, very loving and dedicated friend, Carol Ann Watson and a host of friends whose lives Julia has touched during her stay on this earth will miss Julia. A special thanks to the beloved caregivers, nurses and staff of Sevier County Healthcare Center for the love and care that they have shown Julia.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 7 at Huskey Cemetery with Rev. Greg Watson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, January 6 in the Davis Room of Rawlings Funeral Home.
