Martha was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church since 1939, and cooked for the Sevier County School System for many years. She loved cooking, canning and working with her flowers, but most of all loved her grandbabies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Ramsey, Sr.; siblings, Wilma, Lloyd Jr., Mae, Luther, Mack, and Richard; grandchildren, Stephen Dale Caughron and Wesley Dean Caughron; son-in-law, Judson Caughron. Survivors: Children: Bertha Jean Hurst and husband Roy, Johnny Lee Ramsey and wife Belinda Sue, Mary Jane Caughron, David Ramsey and wife Ann, Robert Ray Ramsey, Jr. and wife Donna; 11 Grandchildren and 12 great Grandchildren; Sisters: Dorothy Loveday, Josie Ann Leatherwood and husband Eddie; Sisters-in-law: Viola and Mildred Brown; Brother-in-law: Kenny Colburn and wife Ruth. Many nieces and nephews Family and friends will meet 10 AM Saturday at Huff Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Ben Whitted officiating.
