He was a member of Dupont Baptist Church. He was retired from Bell South with 39 years of service. He was a Bell South Pioneer and a member of the Gatlinburg Elks Lodge. Mr. Lopasser was a Marine Corp veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Myrtle (Reagan) Lopasser. Survivors: Loving wife: Georgia Campbell Lopasser Sons: Dennis Andrew Lopasser, Sevierville; Keith Anthony (Tony) Lopasser of Rochester, New York Daughter and son-in-law: Kristi Mechelle and Raymond Underwood of Sevierville Former wife and mother of his children: Barbara June Lopasser Step-son and wife: Steven and Melinda Wolfe of Knoxville Step-daughter: Christy LaDawn Wolfe of Knoxville Granddaughters: Melody Douglas and Zoe Wolfe Great-grandson: Joshua Jason Douglas Brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Carolyn Lopasser of Knoxville Sisters and brother-in-law: Wanda and Carroll Loveday of Seymour; Beulah Jean Lopasser of Knoxville Brothers-in-law and wives: Edd and Vivian Justus, Bob and Helen Justus, Darrell Justus, Ronnie and Sandy Justus Sister-in-law and husband: Bernice (Kitty) and Richard Kumher Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. The Reverend Andy Ball will officiate. Interment 12 noon Wednesday in Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville. Pallbearers will be: Kenny Loveday, Rick Loveday, Steve Wolfe, Edd Justus, Jim Reagan and Jim Cotham. Honorary pallbearers will be Willard (Sonny) Daley, Don Harmon, Carl Craig. Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville in charge of arrangements.
