She was born March 16, 1937, in Kessler, W.Va., the daughter of Joe and Virgie (Ogle) Parton. She is survived by her four children, William Michael Aker , Daniel Clinton (Catherine) Aker , Kenneth Aker and Debra (David) Lemley; her grandchildren, Dan, Tiffany, Shane, Nicole, Jesse and Christopher; her siblings, Faye, JoAnn, Betty Jo, Phyllis, Jimmy, Dennis and Virgie Kay; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Walter, Johnny, Elsie and Charlie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor Ron Fike officiating. Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at J.
