Joey Van "Big Joe" Ellison, age 50 of Pigeon Forge passed away Friday December 2, 2016.
He was a former Pigeon Forge Volunteer Fireman. Joey was a team member of the Barn Owl Relay For Life, and a member of the Woodmen of the World. He also enjoyed being a member of the Duff-Tuff Bronco Club.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Lena Ellison, Rev. Henry and Ethel Maples.

Daughter: Kelley Ellison
Parents: Doyie and Pat Ellison
Brother and sister-in-law: Bryan and Rhonda Ellison
Nephews: Luc and Dusty Ellison
Special Cousin: Chris Maples, and many aunts, uncles and cousins
Special family: The Chad McCarter Auction family.

The family will receive friends from 4-6:45PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7PM with Rev. Jerry Hyder and Rev. Jimmy Riner officiating.
