Rev. Herbert Henry Etherton, age 75 of Sevierville, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and had pastored several churches in Sevier County over the years. He owned and operated Etherton Well Drilling for 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Dora Etherton; brothers Minor and Jack Etherton; sisters, Ruby Maples, Irene and Josephine Etherton.

Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Cody and Rev. Lowell Wilson officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Thursday at Providence Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.(www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
