TAYLOR, DOUGLAS MARK - age 52 of Lenoir City, formerly of Strawberry Plains, passed away Sunday morning, April 26, 2009 at his home. He attended Sixth Avenue Church of God. Doug served his country in the United States Air Force and upon completion of his service enlisted in the Army National Guard Reserves where he retired as Staff Sergeant in 1998. He later retired from Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. Doug was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy and his parents, Henry C. and Nellie R. Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Marisa Wykle Green Taylor; children, Stephanie Taylor Miracle and Kevin Taylor both; stepchildren, Cassie and Chad Green; grandchildren: Katherine Taylor, Jason and Lucas Miracle all of Lenoir City; brothers, Roger Taylor of Knoxville and Joe Taylor of Maryville; sisters, Becky Perry of Strawberry Plains and Harriett Calloway along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Rev. Donny Walker and Rev. Fred Cook will officiate. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Roseberry Cemetery for graveside services and interment with full military honors conferred.
