ARCHIE M. DUGGAN, age 90, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2012. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City, where he served as a deacon, usher, member of the House and Grounds Committee, and was a member of the WW Bass Sunday School Class. He was a graduate of Carter High School, attended the University of Tennessee, and was employed by American Enka/BASF for 38 years. He was a World War II veteran, where he was honored to serve in the US Army and was stationed in the Philippines. Preceded in death by parents, Archable M. Duggan and Willie Bolt Duggan; sister, Willie Mae Duggan Brown; and brother, Daniel P. Duggan. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Reba Duggan; daughter, Karen Duggan; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express appreciation and gratitude to everyone at Amedisys Home Health and the caregivers at Life Care Center. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home with Dr. Gene Wilder officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Purdue Scholarship Fund at Carson Newman College, 1646 Russell Avenue, Jefferson City, TN 37760, or the Building Fund at First Baptist Church, 1610 Russell Avenue, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
