LANGSTON, REBECCA DUNKIN - age 88 of Athens, died Wednesday morning May 2, 2007, at her residence. A native of Knoxville, she was a daughter of the late Robert Swann and Venice Duggan Dunkin. She was also preceded in death by her husband Floyd D. Langston, Sr., in 1970; one brother, Robert Dunkin; and one sister, Neleh Cox. She is survived by: one son and daughter in-law, Danny and Judy Langston; two grandsons and spouses, Bill and Pam Langston, Cookeville, Rob and Emily Langston, Athens; one great-grandson, Harrison Langston, Cookeville; one sister, Drusilla Selkirk, Louisville, KY; one sister-in-law, Beatrice Dunkin, Bristol, TN; one niece Sharon Shular, Louisville, KY; one nephew, Bill Dunkin, Washington D.C. Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 W. Adair Dr., Knoxville, with Rev. Mike Hawkins officiating. There will be no visitation. Pallbearers will be family members. The family suggests memorials be made to: the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 344, Etowah, TN 37331.
