Harris, age 79 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Louisa Harris; brothers, Albert, Riley, and Norman Harris; and a sister, Hazel Dunsmore. He is survived by his wife, Kathern Harris; daughters, Sandy Bull, Hope Franklin and husband Richard; sons, Thomas Maples and wife Lori, David Harris, and Dwayne Harris and wife Angela; grandchildren, Gordon, Keith, Jessica, Jimmy, Joey, Johnny, Jeffery, Jeremy, Josh, Amber, Alisha, Allen, Andy, Aubrey, Trevor, Corey, Miranda, and Tasi; many great grandchildren; brother, Bill Harris; sisters, Bernice Keasling, Roxie Pruett, Lori Stubblefield, Wanda Crumbly, and Maudi Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Sherri Franklin and Rev. Charles Covington officiating.
